Call For Participation: Tomorrow’s Engineering Research Challenges

Call For Participation: Tomorrow’s Engineering Research Challenges

The UKRI are inviting members of the research community to participate in a creative visioning exercise that will culminate in a series of workshops late November and early December 2021. These will not be like your typical webinars or workshops, but a progressive journey to identify the most important questions and greatest challenges facing engineers in the future, where new ideas, creative ways of working and radical solutions will be required to solve them.

To participate in this visioning exercise, they are looking for a group of people that are:

  • Passionate about engineering research in the UK
  • Eager and curious to connect and collaborate with a network of like-minded peers
  • Able to bring a diversity of perspectives, including those from outside of engineering
  • Open to hearing and developing novel ideas
  • Able to shape exciting opportunities for the future that could potentially redefine the discipline of engineering
