I joined Exeter University Business School in 2018. Together with Professor Fiona Charnley Peter is Co-Director of the UKRI National Interdisciplinary Circular Economy Research Hub, part of a £30M investment to accelerate Circular Economy Research and Innovation across the UK. Peter has a background in environmental science and economics and is widely known for his work in the Circular Economy, systems thinking and the implementation challenge. Peter leads a number of interdisciplinary research projects investigating the technical challenge of legacy materials such as construction materials, plastics and critical materials and the requirement for the design, financing and enablers for new circular economy systems. Peter, together with Fiona, also leads a Global Master class Implementing the Circular economy designed to support practitioners seeking to understand, initiate and implement circular economy in multiple manufacturing, service, governmental and educational settings. After 7 years and over 1500 delegates from  large companies such as Google to start-ups in Australia, this is the longest and largest professional  education course of its type in the world.
